Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the Bossons Chairlift for its charming two-seater cabins and stunning views of the Bossons Glacier, with the added intrigue of an aircraft crash site. However, some guests have experienced issues with operating hours leading to missed last rides and have reported negative interactions with staff.
"This is a cute little open cable car, with just two seats per cabin, making the ride a charming and unique experience. At the top station, there’s a kiosk/restaurant and a short scenic trail leading to a viewpoint and the remains of an aircraft that crashed here — quite fascinating to see.
From this point, you can also start a longer hike, but be aware that it’s much more challenging, with steep inclines.
You should definitely enjoy this cable car, especially if you have the Mont Blanc Multi Pass, as the ride is included."

"One of the employees was terrible. I encountered him when going up and again when coming down. I lifted the safety bar, my hat and glasses fell off. He laughed at me mockingly and said something like “wow,” but with a sarcastic expression. While going down, I was already afraid of meeting him again, but he was there. When I got off the lift, he immediately started hitting me. He didn’t like that I didn’t release the lift right away, even though I was already in the process of doing so, and he immediately started hitting my arm hard. My safety was absolutely not at risk, I was standing on the ground and planning to release the lift any moment. Such behavior is completely unacceptable. Instead of calmly telling me about my arm, he attacked it. I felt attacked by this man and I cannot shake this disgusting feeling of a random man just hitting me. I believe this employee enjoys violence or is an absolute idiot."

"Awesome little lift. Only concern are opening hours. Most people here do la jonction hiking rounte and for some the opening hours are not enough. We took the first lift up and arrived 15 minutes too late for the last one. Maybe we did a few too many breaks on the hike, and i also understand that the staff wants to go home. But arriving a tiny bit late and seeing the lift still spinning but not being allowed to use it, hurts :D same with the round trip ticket that we payed. Should have known i guess :D anyway great experience going up."
