What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Le Savoy is widely praised as an excellent, accessible spot for beginners and children learning to ski, thanks to its gentle slopes and convenient town-center location. While it's ideal for first-timers, its lower altitude means snow conditions can be less reliable than higher resorts, and amenities like food and parking are limited. It serves as a perfect stepping stone to the larger Brévent ski area.
"Great for beginners and right next to the city centre. One free rolling carpet for the baby slope, and two button lifts that lead to two greens. You can buy a beginners day pass which is much cheaper than the full resort pass. One of the lifts connects to the big Brevent cablecar, so you can practice here before going up to the top.
There is a small hut for snacks and drinks by one of the lifts.
However because it is at town-level, it is quite low and does not get as much snow as other slopes higher up."
Miguel
"Beginners area to ski with many children learning and adults as well. It is in the base of the Brevent and in the city of Chamonix"
Marcos G. Santos
"Great place to land a paraglider in the summer - for experienced pilots and teach little kids to ski in the winter."
