Reviews Summary

Guests consistently praise the exceptional friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, the comfort of the rooms, and the superb quality of the food, particularly the breakfast and adjoining patisserie. The hotel's prime location in the heart of Colmar is also a major highlight. However, some guests have noted issues with room temperature control and occasional less-than-ideal service experiences from specific staff members.

"Just checked out after a superb experience at the Maison des Têtes. Husband and I booked three rooms for ourselves and our siblings family with two kids. The staff got us 3 rooms all next to each other which was excellent.

The staff are so friendly, warm, and helpful. The rooms were beautifully appointed with the most comfortable bed and pillows we’ve experienced in Europe. The to-go goodie bags were such a wonderful end to a truly 5 star stay.

Cannot recommend enough the adjoining patisserie. Stopped by 3 times in one day alone! The hotel breakfast was delicious as well. Was very cool to see all the fresh pastries being moved from the hotel kitchen to the patisserie in the morning.

Cannot wait to come back! Thank you for the wonderful time."

"Excellent staff, nothing too much trouble.
Food is superb, breakfast is wide ranging and all brought to your table on a tray
In the heart of the town.
Nothing not to like"

Paul Johnson

"I experienced somewhat unfriendly treatment from the female concierge when I asked about the possibility of having breakfast at the hotel as a non-guest. While I understand that breakfast is typically reserved for hotel guests, her tone and delivery were off-putting. I wasn’t staying at the hotel due to it being fully booked, but I had hoped to enjoy breakfast there. Many luxury hotels offer breakfast to non-guests for a reasonable price, and I believe this could be a good option here as well. Unfortunately, the concierge’s response, which felt dismissive and condescending, affected my overall experience."
