Reviews Summary
Le Cabellou Peninsula is highly praised for its fantastic location with a beach on its doorstep and proximity to Concarneau. Families particularly love the water park, activities, and friendly staff. However, some visitors find it expensive for what's offered, with occasional issues like limited restaurant options and the need to reserve basic items like croissants a day in advance.
"What a place for young families indoor pool out door pool with very safe slides fantastic for cycling bikes around site lovely little beach at rear of site, and the most friendly staff that you could meet very helpful. With a very nice restaurant."

"Too expensive for what is offering.
The restaurant has few options to choose.
If you want croissants in the morning you need to reserve them 1 day before - that’s odd and frustrating.
Stayed for 1 week in prestige Bora and it was Ok , not extraordinary.
Most of the staff are nice and friendly but not everyone speaks English - hope they will improve in this side.
Never come back again. Probably there are nicer campings around to choose."

"Overall summary for Le Cabellou Plage camping is a very good campsite. An excellent location with a beach literally on the door step and the main centre of Concarceau within easy reach. The facilities are good with a reasonable sized swimming pool with slides, very clean facilities and extremely helpful staff. We stayed in a comfort caravan with 2 bedrooms; for a family of 2 adults and 2 teenagers this was sufficient. The advantage of these caravans is their central location within the site and garden area around them, which provides a pleasant outdoor space and some privacy. In contrast, the new caravans appear to have not had the same thought to their placement and have no garden area. The kids loved the site. There are plenty of activities for them to join in during the day and the evening entertainment is a main attraction. We also used the kayaks and Stand Up Paddle-boards from the camp in the bay which were good fun.
Points for improvement. The shop is basic but covers all the essentials that you might need. Need to understand exactly what is and is not in the caravan before you arrive. We needed to bring a kettle and some additional kitchen implements like knifes. For men it is handy to know that shorts are not acceptable in the pool and a pair of swimming trunks will be required.
We would would certainly return here."
