Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise the unbelievable 360-degree views from Dent du Villard, calling it a beautiful and exceptional landscape. The unique geological formations, like gypsum ravines, are a major highlight. However, many note the hike is challenging, with steep gradients and long ascents, requiring good physical fitness and proper gear.

"Unbelievable views, great for hiking, not for the faint hearted but beautiful scenery, the trails seemed to take forever to climb but definately worth the hike. Worth taking a packed lunch and a fair bit of water. Absolutely stunning place"

gary waugh

"A very beautiful hike starting from the Bozel campsite, with a 360-degree view including Mont Blanc at the end. I completed the round trip in 4 hours, at a good pace.
Poles and shoes with good grip are essential.
Between km 3 and km 5, there are gradients of 25%.
Another point of interest is the flora along the trail: lily of the valley at around 2,000m altitude, at the end of its flowering period in early July, and many other plants."

Bruno Ecolan

"Exceptional 360° view with an easy and gradual ascent from Courchevel, or more strenuous from Pralognan.

The ridges, which continue up to Mont Charvet, are a geological curiosity not to be missed.

Be careful, the course is rather aerial in certain places, so it is not for everyone."
