What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Reviews for medical facilities highlight a stark contrast between excellent patient care and concerning diagnostic oversights. While many commend the attentiveness and organization of staff, others report instances of pain being ignored and serious conditions being missed, leading to significant distress and the need for care elsewhere. The quality of food in one facility was surprisingly praised.
"I had my surgery in the new outpatient surgery facility (the outpatient passport is really well done, by the way). The nurses and nursing assistants were very kind and attentive, always smiling.
Well organized and always on time.
Good meal.
My first time in the recovery room, where things went well for me, and I was quickly able to go back to my room.
I highly recommend it!
Too bad it's not my local hospital..."

"I visited the Dole maternity ward when I was five months pregnant due to severe back and lower abdominal pain. I was simply told it was ligamentous and sent home with Doliprane. My condition quickly worsened, and I was eventually rushed to the Dijon maternity ward, where I was diagnosed with acute pyelonephritis of pregnancy. I stayed there for four days on an IV drip.
I am very disappointed with the care in Dole: my pain wasn't taken seriously, and the real problem was completely ignored. It's a good thing I received proper care elsewhere, otherwise the consequences could have been serious for me and my baby."
Camille Lalaut
"I hope that the intern is very sure of himself and arrogant as possible, because confusing a terminal phase of AIDS with Adisson's disease, well done I just hope he does something else. Remember, you almost killed me. Fortunately, repatriating to the Corbeil hospital, a competent doctor was found in 5 minutes. As if we can. And the doctor who saved me knows the head of the department at the time well. It was a long time ago, I know, but the scar is still open."
