"This place gives a good example of how the area was used and fought over in ww1. The underground fort has been set out really well to give an idea of the living conditions and the surrounding trenches set out well with notice boards for info. Very good"

"An incredible display and use of the fort. I particularly loved the use of the soundscapes, I think this could be also very well used outside in the trench system (sweeping MG fire and artillery sounds etc.)
This is a great supplement to any visit to Verdun if you truly want a great look at the furnishings of one of these rear echelon areas."

"Absolutely brilliant gem of a fort! The volunteers that have renovated and run the place have really put so much effort into this site. It was €5.50 per adult and there is a discount for families. The inside has been renovated and the rooms have been set up to demonstrate the conditions during WWI. There is so much to see and gives a good insite into life in the fort. During the autumn it is only open in the morning until 11:30am but the volunteer was very gracious and said we could stay until 12pm so we could have a proper visit. I would definitely recommend a visit here! Practical info: Parking in a small car park directly at the site. There is a toilet. Take appropriate footwear as there are outside spaces to explore and the Fort can be a bit wet in places."
