"I hiked from Auberge du Maillet (free parking lot) to the Statue of Madonna and then to Troumouse lakes. I met some friendly cows and sheep. I did this hike late June and the weather was perfect, and the waterfalls were full of water."

"Shouldn’t be missed!!!!
People are comparing it to Gavarnie but it is a totally different experience! Different landscape and different experience!
Don’t miss it!!!
There is a train that takes you from the valley strait to the plateau of the cirque and there you can walk easily throughout the huge and beautiful crater. No reservations in advance but I can tell you that at the end of June it was 80% empty…
The pictures says it all, an amazing place!"

"Beautiful views, great hiking and quiet. Would be better without the little road train. Access is somewhat limited on the roads, but worth the views when you get there. Nice little restaurant at the carpark."
