NaturOparC Hunawihr is a charming park focused on local Alsatian wildlife, particularly storks. Visitors appreciate the educational aspects and the natural beauty of the setting, making it a good family outing. However, some reviews mention issues with general cleanliness, limited dining options, and potential difficulties in viewing certain animals.
"It is a nice park in a beautiful secluded area.
However, definitely needs a lot of improvement.
Starting with the general cleaning of the area
Small ponds are so smelly, you can see there is no regular cleaning whatsoever, poor creatures :(
We couldn't see most of the animals due to poor setting arrangements.
The snack area is very limited in options and the waiting time is huge on a busy day.Very slow service.
As a pro we loved the storks and their matting dancings.
The small aquarium with so many friendly fish kois that actually let you pet them.
Lovely donkey which came to the fence to say hi.
Small ducklings were very cute.
Big parking lot."

"Visited because storks are my favorite bird and I am so happy I did. The stork area specifically is so well done and educational. I also watched the feeding of the baby, the worker did the presentation only in French which I don't speak but I didn't mind because it was still enjoyable to observe.
The variety of other animals isn't very exotic but it was all presented well and the park is beautiful to walk around in. I spent 3 hours at the park because I took my time but you can definitely see everything in under 2 hours.
Some things are also written in English but most are not. Google lens is an easy fix to that."

"This place was a joy to come to. This park was so beautiful, and very fun. The kids obstacle course was very fun for my child. And the animals were so cute! We LOVED the storks, and the nursery. I would definitely recommend!"
