Reviews Summary
Guests appreciate the hotel's fantastic location and friendly staff, making it a convenient base for exploring Kaysersberg and its surroundings. While the free parking is a significant plus, some visitors note that the hotel's facilities and rooms could benefit from modernization, with occasional issues reported regarding Wi-Fi and bathroom upkeep.
"Fantastic location, super freindly staff and comfortable room. Did not make use of the breakfast, plenty of places in the area for a coffe and croissant. Walk to the castle just down the street. Highly recomended."

"Located on the outskirts of Kayserberg the family run Hotel Les Remperts makes a good base for exploring the surrounding area. Plenty of parking is available too, which is a bonus. The hotel has no restaurant, but Kayserberg has a number to choose from within easy walking distance – La Veille Forge in particular is a real treat. The hotel also has some lovely artwork to admire in its public areas. Be warned though, the WiFi is a little patchy at times. We stayed for 2 nights as part of a 7 day road trip to Alsace. "Location is within walkable distance to the old town. Plenty free parking included with stay. Front-of-house staff welcoming and friendly. The hotel needs updating and refurbishment. Very much in the style of the 1980-1990s and poorly looked after. The bathroom has a bath instead of a shower with no shower curtain. Water splashes everywhere when showering flooding the floor. Limescale and mould coat taps, bathtub sealant and showerhead holder. There was hair from the previous guests/housekeeping in the bathtub. The lobby has a musty smell most likely set into the carpet from the years of use. The stuffy smell leads into the bedroom lacking any form of ventilation and no air conditioning in the room. The bedroom window steams up easily even with the bathroom door closed and the supposed bathroom vent silently running. The bathroom is separate from the toilet with no bidet which is odd for an european country. The general style of the hotel and room makes you feel you paid far too much for where we stayed (student dormitory style). Although the mattress was good, the duvet was not comfortable. It had imprints with the patterns set into the duvet so it was rough to cover yourself with. The additional blankets were also not suitable to use as when we went to open the wardrobe storing them there was a distinct smell coming from the blankets.
Sound insulation is poor and you hear movements, toilet usage, showering of guests in the next room over.
Well before our checkout time we were in our room preparing. We had our door locked from the inside and housekeeping unlocked our door and barged in on us, asking if we were leaving. We hadn't notified front-of-house that we were checking out but housekeeping for some reason kept imposing on us leave. There were plenty of rooms in our corridor that had been vacated and that housekeeping were still working on. Unsure why they had a necessity to bother us.
Parking in Kayserberg is possible and free outside of 1pm - 6pm and there are plenty of parking lots within walkable distance. We were there on a Thursday/Friday. Arrived on a motorbike and in hindsight had I known that hotel parking was non-gated, accesible to the public I wouldn't have bothered booking this hotel. Their secure garage parking is at an additional surcharge per night even for motorbikes which take up far less space than a car.
It seems the rest of Kayserberg has moved forward in time offering modern touch to their traditional architecture but this hotel is holding onto a bygone era of hospitality."
