What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about Plage du Lac de Cazaux Laouga, particularly its suitability for families due to the incredibly shallow and calm waters, extending far from the shore. The fine sand beach and pleasant lakeside dining options are also frequently praised, creating a relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere for all.
"Nice lake to swim and bask in, especially for kids as the lake is shallow (thigh high) for at least 100 meters into the lake from the beach. There are restaurants and paddle boats with a slide for rent, too. Public toilets are hard to find, so use your ice cream/toilet break at the restaurants wisely. There is real sand beach on the border of the lake which is so similar to most beaches, only this one does not have much wave and is perfect for very young children. Also very nice family holiday vibe too!"

"A pleasant lakeside beach with nearby parking and campsite. A great place to view the planes taking off and landing from a nearby base."

"Lovely beach. A definite go to again. Get there early and had a wonderful time. Clear waters a bit cold today but still had a swim with the kids."
