What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the stunning, impressive mountain scenery and the vast opportunities for outdoor activities like hiking and cycling. The park's natural beauty and historical significance are frequently highlighted, though some note a stronger focus on cycling over hiking and the potential for arid conditions on plateaus.
"It is a really great and beautiful parc. The mountains are impressive and there is a lot to do. However they should use color based walking routes so you can easy make your own hiking route. To me it seems the area focuses more on bicycling/mountainbiking then hiking."
Marc van der Sluijs
"Great hiking but some of the trails are strenuous. We did 14 km with a lunch break in the mountain. 7 hrs total. We climbed 1800 ft in elevation. Fantastic views. Left at 9am to beat the heat. We could see the Jura mountains in the horizon. Some of the trails have a lot of shades. Brought 2 liters of water."
Thierry Simondet
"Stunning views of the exceptional Mont Aiguille. Remarkable plateaus of limestone interspersed with conifer trees. Very hot and arid across the plateaus, not a single stream and an astonishing amount of bothersome flies...but worth the hike!"
