"A mystical place but difficult to visit because it is not often open.
Numerous terraces overlooking the Loire at more than 70m high are the fruit of one man's follies: Maximilien whistled. This work, carried out between 1816 and 1830, was to be the gardens of a castle for Mr. Siffait's daughter. Her death put a stop to the project.
We can now visit these ruins with their magical atmosphere due to their size and their numbers."
