The region offers excellent hiking and climbing opportunities, with rewarding trails and peaks around 2000m. The lake provides a refreshing contrast with swimming and water activities.

"Beautiful region from it's mountains, natural landscapes (much less infrastructure built in the mountains) and villages. Hiking trails will usually require good shoes and legs (uphills of 700+, but very rewarding). Peaks are mostly around 2000m. If you're going with a dog, make sure to check which areas are off limits, but we managed to find walks almost everywhere we wanted to explore"
