"We always stop at Le Crotoy for lunch on our way back to England in the summer. It never ceases to amaze us how quickly the tide comes in. The 'tide out' photo was on our way into the restaurant, and the 'tide in' photo was taken as we left the restaurant about two hours later. There is a sandy, somewhat muddy beach and a lovely long promenade. Usually plenty of parking but if you want to park near a sea front restaurant for lunch, get there early."
