"I love this lake. It is easily accessible by transport from the city centre (we took the tram and walked about 15 minutes).
The scenery is beautiful, the lake is clean and there is plenty of space to sit in the shade and the sun... Very nice space for a swim, picnics, time with friends and family...
It is also kids friendly and there are lifeguards around."

Very chill place..."

"This is a quite nice artificial lake in an old quarry on the outskirts of Montpellier. It's accessible by Tram on the line 2 - about a 10 -15 min walk from the via Domitia stop. I admit not being particularly overwhelmed - I was expecting more having heard rave reviews - but it is a pleasant spot for joggers, picnickers and families with plenty of space, trails and play areas. It looks like a quarry, but the council have done well transforming it into something nice for the community. The paths are well maintained and easy to walk, although gravelly and might be a bit awkward for pushchairs."
