Reviews Summary
Le Havre Train Station is a functional but small hub with mixed reviews. While it offers essential amenities like a shop and vending machines, travelers note issues with ticket payment systems, unreliable train Wi-Fi, and inconsistent restroom cleanliness. However, its proximity to a great boulangerie and unique features like phone-charging bikes add to its appeal.
"Odd hours, but mostly clean. I've never seen so many vending machines in one building. Book your hotel in advance, they sell out quickly."
Ryan Konewko
"Worst service ever, they charged us twice, the first train was at 10.05AM so we thought we could make it, we just needed to pay for the ticket, however, they failed to mention that if the cost is over 50 euros your credit card won't be accepted (and no, the machine doesn't either) so you keep trying with some other credit card until they accept one of them and the machine will give you a reference number, at this point you've already paid but you'll need to ho over to the counter and wait in line for about 30min, however, they will not reimburse you even though they failed to mention which credit cards are accepted and up to what amount. THEY WILL BASICALLY MAKE YOU PAY TWICE THE AMOUNT.
internet access within the train is worthless. You may text and so on, but God forbid you try to make a call through whatsapp .
at some point, they lock every bathroom, claiming that it's being used by someone. However, if you shout, "Is there someone there" in French, you won't get any answer. I'm not one to give businesses bad reviews, but in this instance, they really messed up, this is the last time I travel with SNCF, I've seen better customer service in countries that can hardly pay for their trains..."

"It's a small train station, so better get there a bit early"
