Evenings can be lively, but daytime visits offer a quieter experience.
"Nice port, very cozy streets and good restaurants. In the daytime not to busy at the end of August, in the evening it's a little more crowded."

"To be honest port Lavendon has been the least place I've liked since been coming to South France. Seemed more like a Spanish resort filled with hotels on the sea front . Liked the walk along the sea front shore and the two bars we went in to . But not somewhere I'd go back to in a hurry to go back to ."

"We always visit Lavandou when we are staying in the Riviera, some nice shops and restaurants, had a fantastic meal at a small restaurant Chez Lana which is situated down on the marina quite out of the main bar and eateries, have to admit not a big menu but the service was the best we have had, the guy that owns it was really chatty maybe for some a little to chatty, and found him very hospitable, I wish him and his family all the best with his restaurant which at the time of our visit was just two months old."
