"My last visit was in 1953. The main building is still recognisable. Mainly private flights. Good memories."

"Great airfield. Great service from ATC + ground staff. Got the privilege of being handled by a "Follow Me" car and a Marshall on the apron. Obviously this has a cost, landing fees are bit steep this time of the year - paid €36 in August 2025.
Airport is clean, customs are always on site, quick and efficient. Great place to land and do your Schengen border checks."

"A lovely little airport with friendly and helpful staff - ATC, customs, ops and bike hire. Worth the 12 euros (children half price) bike hire to cycle in to the town, although it's walkable if you prefer. Instrument approaches in both directions, long tarmac runway, and plenty of parking on the apron. Dead easy to get to from the UK, of course, which is why 70% of the aircraft parked there were G reg. Landing fee for a P28R was a perfectly reasonable €36, given the facilities."
