What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Parc des Ibis is widely praised as a beautiful and clean natural space, particularly loved for its resident ibis birds and excellent playground. Visitors appreciate it as a peaceful spot for picnics and relaxation. However, some concerns have been raised regarding dog owners not adhering to designated dog-free zones on the island, which can detract from the experience for families.
"Wonderful place where my kids go daily.
The reason behind three stars are the dogs (more so the dog owners) on the island where the dogs are prohibited. There are visible signs at both bridges by the entrance.
Moreover, when politely pointing to the sign and saying the dogs aren't allowed here, the owners ignore and refuse to leave with their dogs.
When insisting and even saying that I'd call the police, the middle aged ladies say "go ahead, I live here". Well so do I and yet I follow the rules. I bring my kids to the dog-free playground specifically knowing 1) they're safe 2) not exposed to dog excrement.
Next time I will be filming the offenders and sharing with Le Vésinet Marie and local law enforcement."
