"A museum rich in information, where the signage and the direction of the tour are coherent and pleasant to follow.
I also appreciated the drawings, which resemble digital watercolors.
I enjoyed the superb guided tour led by Marina.
Her explanations were very interesting, her delivery was fluid, and the little anecdotes very enjoyable.
It was a very enjoyable time, rich in discoveries.
It was very interesting to learn about the history of the village, more generally about the resort, and sometimes even history in general.
The history of our ancestors, the way of life, housing, work, a few words in local dialect, and even an immersion in a dwelling that is none other than... the museum!
Upstairs, there are also films in the form of interviews with elders who recount their lives, particularly the sudden but ultimately not so horrific changes in their lives with the arrival of tourism. I highly recommend this museum; it's a shame there are so few people interested.
PS: Thanks to Marina for giving us another side of the mountain in peak season.

"A very well-designed museum, spread over several levels, each showing an aspect of the valley's transformation. From the traditional "remues" (removals) to the development of the Val Thorens resort.
Very interesting and informative. Several video presentations are included, as well as reproductions of late 19th-century dwellings."

"A very interesting museum about the life of mountain dwellers up until the beginning of the 20th century, then the history of the creation of seaside resorts. Fascinating and well-done, it would be a shame to miss it! Allow a good two hours or more to see everything.
A warm welcome at the Tourist Office."
