What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise Pointe de la Masse for its absolutely stunning panoramic views, with many highlighting the chance to see Mont Blanc on clear days. The modern gondola ride is also a significant draw, offering scenic vistas. While the summit amenities like the bar/restaurant are appreciated, some feel the extra cost for premium cabin features isn't essential.
"Wonderful panoramic views (even from the toilets!) with a good viewing platform to maximise this. It is also well served by a good quality bar/restaurant, at least when we visited during the ski season. An excellent arrangement of viewing frames helps you appreciate the many surrounding mountains and you also gain a high altitude view of the Les Menuires (the access point by gondola lift) and Val Thorens resorts."

"The view worth everything, in good weather condition you can see mount blanc, the place is new the new train looks amazing, but I don’t think that additional money for glass bottom in cabin is worth. I thought will be wow effect but was quite normally. But the place is the best to see in the valley. Must see in Saint Martin valley."
