"Limoges has an impressive cathedral but since we had just visited Bourges it doesn’t compare. It is grand enough and the highlight of visiting Limoges.
We went in the evening just before closing at 6pm. The evening light certainly reflects off the cathedral and it is softer than during the middle of the day.
It is also quieter if you go later in the day as we didn’t see many people even though it is peak summer holiday season.
You get nice views from the gardens as well."
