Reviews Summary
Visitors find Église Saint-Nicolas Meaux to be a curious and historically significant thirteenth-century church with a unique, hallway-like interior. Many appreciate the peaceful atmosphere, especially when attending Sunday mass with its welcoming community and beautiful hymns. The adjacent gardens offer a serene escape.
"A rather curious thirteenth century church that had gone through changes throughout its existence. Inside is like one long hallway with a high altar and two rows of congressional seatings. Privileged enough to join the Sunday mass as the main Cathedral of Meaux is not hosting mass due to current renovation. Very friendly and welcoming parishioners with angelic voices when they were singing hymns. Absolutely felt blessed for attending the service and bless the Meaux community for the welcoming gestures. Worth visiting for all ages and backgrounds as this is a great church to visit."

"So many memories for me. My school was next to the church. I received my First Communion there, studied catechism. Processions in the Augustinian gardens. Happy times! I'm talking about a time... 1953-1964. Father Longuet..."

"Having visited the church for the St. Fiacre plant fair, I found the communication particularly poor.
I went there around 3:40 p.m., just after the parade, to see three stalls, one of which had plants (that didn't look very healthy) spread out haphazardly on the ground, without any information. When I approached the stall manager for more information, he (without a hello or the slightest bit of friendliness) completely ignored me for a good five minutes to chat with Véronique, who was telling me how she killed her calathea in her living room. He was nice.
Having quite severe social anxiety, being ignored in the middle of the church grounds by a cold host was a very unpleasant experience, even though I'm a huge plant lover.
I hope the communication and the guests will be much more interesting next year."
