"This is a fantastic cave system.
We arrived after the english spoken tour had left and joined a French speaking tour (this wasn’t ideal given our limited knowledge of French). Possibly consider ringing ahead or trying to find out the times of the tours for your preferred language; I’m not sure the website highlights this clearly enough.
The tours are only provided in groups with a guide but I think when you see the caves and how well they are preserved this makes perfect sense.
We’ve visited quite a few caves across France and these are very impressive and well worth a visit.
For the non French speaking on the tour they have access to WiFi in the shop and you can download the webpage with audio snippets onto your phone in English. Some people had difficulty with this but once you leave the shop you will likely no longer have signal so I think you have to avoid refreshing your browser in order for it to work. I’d recommend taking AirPods/earbuds for your phone.
