"A nice, humble, respectful place, just above/next to the church of St. Pierre. Its another of those places you sort of fine wandering the many stairs and alleys of Mont St Michel."
Graham Tranter
"Built on two terraces, it overlooks the bay and offers one of the most beautiful views of the bay. There are few ancient tombs in this cemetery. Among the tombs is the star of the Mount: "Mother" Annette POULARD (1851-1931), famous all over the world for her omelets, which she originally offered to her guests while they were waiting for the menu. It is also in this cemetery that the non-figurative sculptor Henri-Georges Adam (1901-1969) was buried: a member of the School of Paris, he created monumental sculptures and tapestries"
Natalie Daz
"Quite a special place to be your last resting place. Located just above the church, included is the war memorial for the locals who died during WW2. Free to visit."
