Reviews Summary
Visitors are consistently impressed by the Mougins Museum of Classical Art's unique concept of blending ancient artifacts with modern masterpieces, creating a visually striking and thought-provoking experience. The collection is described as stunning and rich, with many appreciating the passion behind this privately funded gem. However, some find the admission price a bit high for the museum's size.
"Over 4 floors, this small and creative museum leaves good impression. Not cheap for its size! But living in London we’re spoilt by free museums here, so I speak for myself.
It will be very interesting for those interested in and appreciating ancient Roman, Greek and Egyptian history.
The reason why I gave it 4 not 5 stars, because I was excited about seeing works by Chagall et al announced in the museum description.
There were a few works mixed with the ancient finds but mainly: armour, helmets, swards, coins, pottery.
Surprisingly there were some glass items that survived the time with no cracks or defects."
