What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
The Rebberg District is appreciated for its stunning panoramic views from the Tour du Belvédère and its charming historic chalets, offering a glimpse into its past. However, some visitors note that modern developments are impacting its original character, leading to a desire for better preservation of its heritage.
"This old district originally made up of plots of vines was gradually invaded by housing, there are still some pretty houses dating from the origins of Rebberg, some in wood with large shaded gardens and their arbor but the modern houses which distort the charm of this district and the real estate developers will soon have completed their work of destruction of this heritage, there is still time to think about rehabilitation and modernization rather than concrete everything and leaving only houses in variations of glass cubes...for the Parc district zoological is a good representation of the architecture at the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the green lung which continues in the neighboring forest where you can walk or exercise by practicing sporting activities. Look at the Rebberg through the other end of the telescope, go in search of the pretty wooden chalets in the area and have a good walk"

"I live in Strasbourg, but I come to Rebberg two or three times a month to visit my friend who lives there in the commune of Riedisheim, a magnificent place."
