"A must to do with children, I visited the aquarium with my 4 year old daughter. Adults are €6 and children are free.
We started on the 1st floor and the natural history museum. It was very clean and tidy and had a good selection of taxidermy animals. Also, dinosaur skeletons hanging from the ceiling.
There is a temporary exhibition on the lifecycle of death, complex subject, but my daughter did view the exhibits.
Moving downstairs to the acquarium, there is a good mixture of specimens of fish, aquatic fauna, and flora. Nice wooden steps so children can see into each of the tanks. We spent about an hour here. There is a nice garden at the back of the museum with seating. They have a break from 12-2 p.m"
