"A very elegant and well-stocked museum, it's a shame I was there near closing time. There are so many interesting objects. I would just like to recommend, if possible, better organization. Instead of having us leave all our belongings in one place, we were asked to leave disinfectants first, and then umbrellas and then again to put the backpack in front (by a guard who, moreover, did not understand English). The aforementioned guard also seemed annoyed that I didn't understand him. Too bad, the museum looks amazing. I have to say, though, that the girl at the front office was very nice."

"I highly recommend this museum even if you stay in Nantes for only one day, especially for overseas travelers. The building itself is very beautiful with elegant wood panel decoration. There are numerous beautiful collections, most with English explanation or introduction of the historical background. Also the museum has put a lot of effort to multimedia education, which is intriguing and manages to hold attention of both kids and adults. Although the access of it is not included in the Nantes museum pass, it is well worth the visit."
