"Our visit to the Nice-Ville Station was to recover a bag that we left on the TGV the day before. We did complete the online form to declare that we had lost property on the train. Once were coverted the language to English it was easy to complete. We were tourists and could not speak or understand French. The lost luggage staff were very helpful and the bag was found in their vast collection of Lost & Found. We had attached Samsung Smart Things tags to all our luggage and so we were able to track down which Station the bag had been secured. It also helped with the identification of the bag as I was able to show the SNCF staff that I could arm and disarm the tag with my mobile device. The cost of retrieval was 10 Euros which was payable through the ticketing machines at the Station. The SNCF staff also helped us through the ticket machine menu system in order to pay the fee."

"Busy train station. Well signed. Punctual trains. Easy to purchase and use the tickets. People might try to sneak it behind you through the gate - it seems notorious."
