Nice 📍 Côte d'Azur 🏝️ Seul en voiture sur la Promenade des Anglais, sans embouteillage. Le soleil brille, la mer scintille, et le doux murmure des vagues accompagne ma tranquillité. 📍Nice, France Plage Publique De l'Opéra If there is anything beautiful like Paris in France, it's French Riviera. It is located in the southern part of France, surrounded by beautiful beaches and mountains. This trip was very nostalgic to plan, reading, and learning about Nice in textbooks during schools, learning about Mediterranean Sea, which I remember I always made a spelling error 😄 . ....

Reviews Summary

Plage Publique de l'Opéra offers a beautiful, centrally located public beach with clear waters and stunning views of the French Riviera. While the pebble surface can be uncomfortable and some visitors report poor service at paid facilities, its free access and prime location make it a popular choice for a refreshing dip and a stroll along the iconic Promenade des Anglais. "---
Plage publique de l'Opéra is a beach in the center of Nice, near the flower and fruit market, next to the Opera House. It is a pebble beach rather than sand and is right in the middle of the Bay of Nice. A nice place to spend a few hours facing the calm blue sea."

"Crystal clear water and a beautiful view — truly a spectacular spot. But keep in mind it’s a pebble beach, not sand, which makes sunbathing a bit uncomfortable. We ended up preferring the nearby private beaches for lounging."

Umit Kilic

"The only reason this place didn't get 1 star is because I enjoyed not sitting on the rocks on this beach. The lounge chairs were the only reason this place got a rating boost.

The lounge chairs themselves were quite dirty. The staff were very unwelcoming from the very begging right up till the end. When we approached the desk upon entry 3 staff members were gathered together and did not speak to us for a few minutes even though eye contact was made. On my way to the toilets, which were very unkept, I asked a waitress if I could order some drinks, and was then told to wave at a waiter walking by when I returned to my lounge chair. Well fast forward 2 and a half hours later we left at their closing time, without any beverages. There were waiters around who had no interest in their jobs and one was on their phone (chatting) the entire time he was in close proximity.

Not worth the money in my opinion.

Fair enough, the beach is rocky and this is one of the few places where you can get a lounge chair and walk to the water on a carpet without hurting your feet. However, the service and attitude of the staff are not worth the 20 euro you pay for a half day or 40 euro for a full day."
