Menier chocolate factory in Noisel, France [4000x3000]
It's Noisiel, I used to leave nearby. It was converted to offices, but they made chocolate there until the 80s, and it made the houses downwind smell of chocolate. Good kid memories.
Saulnier Mill, part of the Menier chocolate factory, where cocoa is ground. Noisiel, Seine-et-Marne, Ile-de-France, France. Built between 1865 and 1872.
This is EXACTLY what a chocolate factory should look like.

"Nestle France Head office until summer 2020. You can visit this place only during patrimony weekend usually in September. You can also see the site from outside if you're walking beside Marne river in Noisiel."

"More pretty at the picture than in real life you don’t get close enough to see factory"

"A lovely walk along the Marne River, passing the old chocolate factory buildings. Park in the parking lot after the bridge at the corner of Chelles and Gournay. Follow the banks of the Marne to Canoé de Torcy. Be careful, it can be very busy on weekends.
We did the round trip, which took about 2.5 hours.
An 13km loop is also possible."
