"We stared around 18h in summer, so it was the best time to hike since the sun was still there but the temperature was not so hot. The hike is easy, I was impressed by the fence of trees in which they lean toward each other like a natural dome. The top of the hill is magnificent, view panoramic to other “puys” around. The stair to go back also looks poetic too 🤩"

"A very doable hike with a great view on the surroundings. Well kept stairs to climb. Can be very windy on top. Whilst descending, you have great changing views on the Puy de Dôme. Just before the Puy de Dôme train station, cross the railway moving away from the parking to start your 1 hour something (one way) hike."
