"Located at an altitude of 2,570 meters, I was able to reach this lake at the end of summer. The hike is quite steep, starting from the Orciere Merlette station. But once you get to the lake, you forget the pain in your legs and finally contemplate the beauty of the lake. But no matter, once you get to the lake, it's a real pleasure. It's a good idea to take a windbreaker with you, because once you get to the top, it's not very warm."

"A wonderful hike to start our stay! Remember to take windbreakers and good shoes, as well as water! 2.5 hours of hiking starting from Drouvet 1 and 2! A mixture of colors, smells, incredible landscapes! For the lucky / quiet ones, maybe even the chance to come across marmots! A nice little break by the lake! It is very accessible!"

"A really lovely and pleasant place with very pretty lakes! However, be sure to dress warmly as it gets very chilly at the top. We were hoping to spot marmots during our walk, but unfortunately, we were followed by a very noisy family, so it was impossible to see a single one. Nevertheless, it's still a very enjoyable hike. It's a shame about the bad weather that day."
