What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Concorde Metro Station is praised for its unique artistic platform on Line 12, featuring the Declaration of Human Rights, and its prime location near major Parisian landmarks. However, visitors frequently warn about the prevalence of pickpockets and the strictness of ticket inspectors, urging vigilance and proper ticket validation.
"Beware of thieves on metro!!!!!! They are young men and women mostly dark skin, in group of three or more, hanging around metro lines for opportunities. The most vulnerable situation when it is crowded. They would identify a victim and strike a few seconds immediately after boarding as passengers are pushed and shoved to get on. Similarly, they could strike few seconds when metro entering station and passengers make way toward the door. Always hold on to your bags in front of your chests, or keep them under arms. For small pouches, wear across shoulders with pouches in front of your chests and hands on the pouches - if wear around waist, always keep hands on pouches. Thieves can also used sharp blades to cut your pant pockets as well. Be alert, scan your surrounding passengers. Have a safe travel on metro!"

"Got pickpocketed. Thieves were 3 teenagers. They got us as we were going up the stairs to the train transfer. When the metro warns you about pickpocketing, they aren’t kidding.
Thank goodness for the kind woman passing by who yelled at us from a far that we were being pickpocketed. It could have been worse. They made off with my sanitary pad (which I guess looks like a wallet). Lessons learned."

"Quite big station with good connection planned lines. Just be aware of entrances only for ticket holders. Easy to go through and well marked with directions. At entrance helpful bilingual staff are happy to help"
