What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Reviews for Paris apartments are highly polarized. Many guests rave about the 'quintessential Parisian experience,' praising the prime locations, authentic charm, and excellent service from specific agencies like Parisian Home. However, a significant number of negative reviews highlight issues such as cancelled bookings, broken amenities, poor communication, and unexpected charges, suggesting a need for caution and thorough vetting of providers.
"Don't! Terrible! Awful! No!
Cancelled our room as we were boarding our flight in the states to go to France. We had to go back up with one less bed and they didn't provide top sheets or ANYTHING for the third guest.
Tv was broken, shower stayed warm for less than 20 seconds and stove only had one stove top that works. Avoid..... There are better places
Thanks to them I got to sleep on a sofa with deco pills and a throw blanket.
See photos of my "bed" because they were fine if I just slept on the floor. Terrible views too- nothing like what we booked.
NOT what we paid for at all!"

"My husband and I just spent a wonderful month at the Louvre Majestic apartment on the Rue du Pont Neuf, As soon as I saw the apartment on the Parisian Home website, I was hooked. And, it was even better in person. We have rented apartments in Paris in several locations on both the Right and Left banks and we both agreed that this location was our favorite. The apartment was spacious, very tastefully decorated and had everything you could possibly want or need (i.e., air conditioning, a lovely terrace, TV, WiFi, an elevator, dishwasher, microwave, washer and dryer, and the best shower with loads of hot water!). In addition to these amenities, the apartment was within 100 ft of 5 cafes, a bakery, a pharmacy, a butcher, multiple metro stops, a Monoprix for groceries and wine, a park and a myriad of stores so you could shop to your heart's content. What made our stay even more enjoyable was the team at Parisian Home. They were professional, proactive and catered to our every need. We look forward to working with them again in the near future."

For Different Travelers
Tailored advice for your travel style
👨👩👧 Families with Kids
When searching, prioritize locations with easy access to amenities like bakeries and grocery stores, making meal preparation simpler. Some 'aparthotel Paris' options might offer family suites or connecting rooms, which can be beneficial. Always check reviews for mentions of noise levels and safety, especially if your children are sensitive to noise or if you plan to be out late.
💰 Budget Travelers
Cooking some meals in your apartment can significantly cut down on expenses. Look for apartments with well-equipped kitchenettes and proximity to local markets. While 'luxury apartments Paris' are plentiful, focusing on 'furnished rentals Paris' with essential amenities rather than high-end finishes will save money. Be wary of extremely low prices that might indicate scams or poor conditions.
💖 Couples & Romantic Getaways
Consider apartments that offer a good balance of privacy and proximity to romantic spots. Look for listings that emphasize comfort and style, perhaps with a fireplace or elegant decor. Many 'Paris apartment vacation rentals' are designed with couples in mind, offering a more intimate and personal stay than a hotel.

Navigating Paris Apartment Rentals
When considering Paris rentals, pay close attention to the location. Neighborhoods like Le Marais are highly desirable for their charm and central access, while areas near the Eiffel Tower offer iconic views. Always check proximity to metro stations, as this is crucial for navigating the city efficiently. Websites and agencies specializing in 'furnished apartments Paris' can help ensure you have the basics covered upon arrival. Remember that 'Paris apartments for rent short term' and 'short rent Paris' are common searches for tourists.
It's essential to be discerning. Some 'pseudo agencies' may have misleading terms or hidden fees. Always clarify security deposit requirements, agency commissions, and what's included in the rent. Reading reviews is paramount, as experiences can range from 'highly recommended' to 'WORST place ever.' Look for consistent feedback on cleanliness, host responsiveness, and accurate representation of the property.
The Parisian Aesthetic: Decorating Your Temporary Home
When decorating or choosing a rental, look for elements like ornate mirrors, elegant chandeliers, and comfortable, plush seating. Bookshelves filled with literature, curated art, and fresh flowers contribute to the ambiance. Even in smaller studio apartments Paris, clever use of space can create a chic and functional living area. The 'Parisian style' is less about trends and more about creating a timeless, inviting atmosphere that reflects a love for beauty and comfort.
Many short-term rentals aim to capture this essence. You might find listings described as 'luxury apartments Paris' or 'furnished apartments Paris' that highlight these design principles. Even if you're not decorating yourself, understanding this aesthetic can help you appreciate the charm of your chosen accommodation.
Navigating Short-Term vs. Long-Term Rentals in Paris
For those planning an extended stay, perhaps for study or work, 'Paris monthly rentals,' 'long term rental Paris,' or 'apartments for lease in Paris' are more appropriate. These often involve more formal lease agreements and may require a larger security deposit. 'Paris apartment rentals long term' and 'rent a flat in Paris long term' will lead you to listings suitable for stays of several months or more. It's crucial to understand the terms and conditions for each type of rental, as they differ significantly in contract length, payment structures, and cancellation policies.
When looking for 'short term lease Paris' or 'long term lease Paris,' be sure to compare prices and amenities. 'Furnished apartments Paris' are common for both short and long stays, offering convenience. However, always verify what is included, such as utilities, internet, and cleaning services, especially for longer commitments.
