What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Saule Fleureur de la Pointe for its tranquil atmosphere and the beauty of its iconic weeping willow tree. It's a highly recommended spot for a peaceful picnic by the Seine, offering a serene escape from the city's hustle. Some note the lack of seating and the need for caution near the water's edge.
"Went there on 29/7, a Monday noon with perfect weather and there was no crowd, only a couple who took photos and go.
The leaves were green and in nice condition when we arrived. The Seine wasn't the best in color initially but it reflected the morning sky and still got a nice blue surface for photos. Would also recommend if you go there as a place to rest and chill as it provides a tranquil environment and it's soothing to just sit and watch the leaves swaying under a gentle breeze, or the fallen leaves floating on the slowly flowing river. Just be careful as there is no fences, and the old tree has grown very big that you have to walk through some tree branches when you're about to get to the tip of the island."

"I am a big fan of French actor, Jean-Louis Trintignant.
One of his movies "Les Pas Perdus (The Last Steps)" was filmed here, I think.
Beautiful and poetry point!"
