"We arrived a bit after 10:00, walked through the museum, and then participated in guided tour. The views of the buildings and machinery outside are impressive. And really our tour guide Marcel (who had worked in the mine himself back then) was who made this visit even better. He gave facts, and explained in a very clear way about the mine, the machines and so. And to losen up he also had several anectodes. Best tour I've had in a long time. Worth a visit for sure"

"The museum is situated in the former above-ground facilities, providing an overview of Lorraine‘s coal mining history. To get the full experience, I can only encourage everyone to book a guided tour of the mine. While not being underground, the mine has been arranged so as to give a good impression of the work situation in various conditions."
