"Visited on a Sunday afternoon in August so traffic backed up on the causeway road but easy enough to find a parking space, which are all free. 2 mins walk to get on the beach where it's easy to find a big bit of space to yourself. Beach is mostly pebbly sand but flat, however, no food outlets nearby.
Views are beautiful but you covered in huge amounts of dried seaweed. It dries to you and your stuff and ends up coming home in the car!"

"Long and nice sandy beach. Parking spot available on the road behind. In the summer there is a cute train that takes you there (rolls on wheels). I visited in May so the water was a bit cold for my taste, but saw a few people surfing. There are a few good spots for that."
