The tide was out this morning, leaving lots of rock pools and low stone formations to explore.
This beach is huge, with sand dunes behind it, a meandering river estuary to one side and the start of a coastal walk to Port Bourgenay on the other side.
Veillon plage is perfect at all times of the year - brisk walks in winter and sunbathing in summer!
