What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the breathtaking panoramic views and the dramatic Aiguilles de Bavella. The sanctuary offers a peaceful spiritual experience. However, be prepared for crowds and potentially unpredictable mountain weather, which can impact the views.
"Great place for starting your hike. There are number of options available to pick from. We elected for the shortest one - 2 hours. Easy enough and family-friendly. At the furthest point there is an option to take a step aside and slimb the nearest mountain peek. No climbing gear required, just some sturdy shoes. Great views from the top.
We were taken aback by parking cost of 4eur in the lot we entered. As far as we could tell parking space across the road was free. Staff in the info center could have been bit more helpful, but I guess it's again a language barrier like in many places around here."

"No pizzas in restaurants and in windy day, rather cold place.. But nice view and it crossed by gr20"
Piotr Pawlowski
"Very crowded, but beautiful view on the surrounding mountains. We didn't' stay long: too many people."
