What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the Quineville World War II Museum for its immersive dioramas and the palpable care put into its creation. Many highlight the authentic Utah Beach bunker and the extensive, detailed artifact collection as major draws. While some note it's a smaller museum and can be dark inside, the overall sentiment is overwhelmingly positive, with many calling it a remarkable and worthwhile stop on a Normandy tour.
"It's probably the smallest of all the museums we visited but I (and my son confirms) the nicest one. You can see it has been done with so much care and joy and the story it tells is simply good. As the French say "chapeau" to the people who designed it and made the dioramas and sampled the collection. One piece of advice, if you buy tickets online download them before, the WiFi and telephone signal is a disaster in the area (but that's not the fault of the museum)"
