This church is very old since it is already mentioned under the name of Saint Mary during the 11th century. History tells that in 1582, during the Wars of Religion, the inhabitants dismantled the building so that it could not serve as a fortress for the soldiers who crisscrossed the region. However, in 1600, the damage was repaired and the vault regained its former appearance."
