"the road that overlooks the left bank of the Verdon offers a very beautiful and powerful landscape. as well as the road to do holding tight to the wheel. It is impressive to drive on this road but it is worth it."

"I've only driven the southern section and I'm incredibly impressed. Photos don't capture the depth and beauty of the canyon, so you have to see it for yourself. The route I took (D71) isn't too difficult; buses honk their horns before bends, and there's plenty of room for passing places. The greenish, sapphire color of the water is worth noting – this is due to the abundance of fluoride and organisms suspended in it. The viewpoints aren't marked, so you have to research them online and rely on the advice of others. I was in the Verdon Gorge in October and could practically stop anywhere because there was no traffic."
