What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the Forêt de Saint-Gobain for its natural beauty, tranquility, and opportunities for quiet walks amidst greenery and wildlife. However, a recurring point of frustration is the inconsistent and often missing trail signage, which can lead to confusion and the risk of getting lost. Some also note the presence of bothersome insects during warmer months.
"Lovely place to walk, quiet and green with lots of birds and even frogs can be heard! Signage stops in the middle and then comes back - leaving it up to luck whether you actually follow the designated 4.5km/1.5hr "route de l'étang" (route of the pond). We were among the lucky ones, so I'll share the route in a picture."
