The beach was not very crowded. The water was gentle and waves were low when we went. But it was also FULL of seaweed so swimming was very unpleasant."

"Very nice beach to visit with our family. There’s a beautiful lookout at the top of the path by the road showing the coastline. It’s a bit of a steel hill getting down but pathed. Also facilities are provided with life guards on duty.
The surfers seemed to enjoy it! The water was fine in August, 75 degrees F FYI.
It was a rough sand with rounded beach rocks but safe enough to walk into the surf. However, pay attention to the conditions. Waves got strong enough to roll some rocks in the tide’s.
Bonus, there’s a food truck in the parking lot to enjoy 😊"
