"What a wonderful museum! History of bicycle and weaving technologies engaged one in the rich industrial heritage of the region. Great bookshop. Excellent proximity to other spots which should be on your list to visit like the big indoor market & restaurants and cafes under glass. And I got to see displays and explanations of the origin of the Jacquard Loom punch cards which were the basis of the Hollerith cards used in the early days of programming computers! I learned programming on punch cards in the late 1970’s and there they were from hundreds of years ago. Wonderful, wonderful, eye opening experience."
