The refuge has everything you could need — great people working there, a fantastic atmosphere, super friendly and open.
It was such a pleasure to arrive and enjoy lunch after a long hike.
After lunch, we continued our hike up to Lac de Chambres and returned in time for dinner. The portions were generous, the shower was wonderful, and we slept very well. The next morning, they kindly served us an early breakfast before 7:00 so we could get back to Samoëns on time.
The views were just stunning, especially at sunset — absolutely incredible.
We also had a few questions before our trip and received an impressively quick reply by email. If you have any dietary restrictions, it’s best to check with them in advance.

"This place is a wonder. The family that owns the place are wonderful people, in fact Marie has even saved us from going into a danger the next day. Maybe the rooms aren’t the most spacious, but you only sleep in the room, how much space do you need?
We were very welcomed as we entered the Refuge, and I can easily say that this refuge is such a place where you can enjoy your stay in all ways."
