"A superb little hike through the woods and meadows.
During the walk, you'll encounter chestnut trees, oaks, and even apple trees.
Friendly potiok will come and accost you, and depending on the season, you'll see quintoa pig farms.
The only downside during the season is that you have to park in the Rhune train parking lot."

"I love this hike from the village of Ascain! Several access routes through the forest or the mountain slope. Varied terrain, magnificent landscapes up to the climax with the coastal perspective, invigorating nature, athletes and walkers respectful of the place, and always moving encounters with the pottoks and their babies. In short, an energizing cocktail like a synthesis of Basque nature... in less than 10 km round trip... and beautiful elevation changes...."
